Most Popular Foreign Stocks according to Trading Volume so far in 2020

In this edition of Value Reports, we explore the Top 25 foreign stocks ranked by Average Daily Volume YTD.

Taken as a group, the TOP 25 foreign stocks (selected out of 847 foreign companies traded on US Exchanges) have performed well, with the median for the group returning 23.91 so far this year, or positive 31.12 relative to the S&P 500.

On a volume basis, the most traded foreign stocks of the year are Alibaba Group, posting an average daily volume of 3.65 billion USD, Shopify with 1.8 billion USD, and Broadcom which traded 836 million USD on average YTD.

Alibaba’s impressive volume is 8th in the US overall, only behind Apple, Tesla, Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Facebook, and Nvidia. Beating out the likes of Alphabet and Netflix.
